Belgium bids farewell with one-off packages! September 4, 2017, 11:48 am

Since September 1, the city government of Brussels and the capital region has banned the distribution of disposable plastic bags.

Such a decision the city authorities have taken to reduce environmental pollution,
given that, on average, the plastic bag decomposes in nature for 450 years.

Plastic bags, which store owners have already purchased, the city authorities allowed to use until October.

Brussels became the second region of Belgium, which banned the use of plastic bags. Previously, similar measures were introduced in Wallonia.
