The pictograms of environmental standards on the paper package help consumers easily identify products, quality and characteristics of which match the standards in the areas of environment and health.

ISO 14001 - the international standard for environmental management systems. Companies that have confirmed their compliance of technological processes with ISO 14001, send every effort to minimize the environmental impact of their production processes, products or services.

ISO 9706 - the international standard which establishes a set of quality indicators for paper to be met, classified as long-lasting, suitable for long-term document retention.

OHSAS 18001 - the international standard aimed at creating a system of labor protection and safety during the manufacturing process.System of management of health and safety, based on standard OHSAS 18001, allows the organization to address a wide range of tasks, regardless of the direction of activity, sector or industry.

EMAS (Eco Management and Audit Sheme, from English "scheme of environmental management and audit"). In addition to the requirements of ISO 14001, the document prescribes the organization of the official preliminary environmental analysis and publication of an environmental report, which aims to inform all interested parties about the tasks of environmental management and performance of the enterprise.

NORDIC SWAN (from English. "Nordic Swan") imposes more stringent requirements for environmental management systems of enterprises. Coverage of this standard applies to Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland. Nordic Swan organization is promoting the concept of sustainable consumption, tracking influence of goods and services on the environment at every stage of their life cycle, from raw material extraction to disposal.

In the EU countries ecolabel EU Flower is widely spread(from English. "EU Flower"). It helps consumers to easily identify products, quality and properties which meet the requirements of protection in areas of environment and health. When labeling this sign it is also considered its impact on the environment throughout its life cycle.

Sign TCF (Totally Chlorine Free, from English. "Chlorine free") is used in the paper industry to identify products during the manufacturing process which do not use chlorine components. It also shows that pulp does not contain products of recycling.

Sign ECF (Elementary Chlorine Free, from English. "Elemental chlorine-free"). In technology ECF pulp bleaching occurs using chlorine compounds, such as its dioxide, which reduces the formation of reaction by-products harmful to the environment.

The purpose of the International Association of FSC (Forest Stewardship Council, from English. "Forest Stewardship Board ") is to promote environmentally responsible, socially oriented and economically sustainable forest management and the management of the world's forests. Marking with FSC logo indicates that the product was obtained as a result of legal and responsible use of woods, in social and economic aspects, as well as was audited for compliance with the criteria of Association FSC.

PEFC (Programm for the Endorsement of Forest Certification, from the English. "Program for approval of Forest Certification") is an international system of certification of forestry and timber trade. In the manufacture of products, which were marked with the PEFC, we use wood grown in certified wood areas in motives of economic, social and environmental perspective, and any their respective is confirmed by an independent audit of accredited certification organizations.
